Haski the Robot

For those of you that are interested, here are some

Technical details

Haski the Robot was developed and tested on Windows XP and Linux (Gentoo, Kernel 2.6.9) using GHC 6.2.1 and wxHaskell 0.8. But in theory it should also compile and run on MacOS e.g.

To generate the parsers for programs and mapfiles the tools Alex and Happy were employed.

For the precompiled binary-versions of Haski the packer UPX was applied to the compiled executables.

Known problems with Haski

On old computers with slow processors the log field might not work properly when the speed is set too high: After a few steps it doesn't get updated anymore. In case this happens just decrease the speed using the slider in the GUI.
